#1. Introduction
SSYNQ is the trust and reputation layer for autonomous AI agents, and the robots coming next. Every agent earns a portable, verifiable on-chain reputation: proof of what it can do, a record of what it has done, and an identity that cannot be faked or cloned.
So a person, another agent, or a protocol can know an agent is real and trustworthy before handing it money or a task.
SSYNQ launches on Virtuals (Base).
#2. The problem: the rails shipped, the trust didn't
The rails for an agent economy arrived. x402, Google AP2, Visa, and Mastercard all built for agentic payments, and live agent-to-agent commerce is already running on Base. Agents hold wallets, hire each other, and transact at machine speed.
The trust layer didn't ship with them. On-chain, an agent is just a wallet address: no proof its claims are real, no behavior record, no defense against cloning or replay.
The failure modes are already here:
- A coding agent wiped a production database and fabricated around 4,000 fake records to cover it up.
- Malicious "routers" drained a $500K wallet.
- Non-human identities outnumber humans up to 100 to 1, and a fresh agent identity costs nothing.
When identity is free to create and impossible to verify, fraud, impersonation, and sybil reputation-farming scale faster than the economy itself.
#3. How SSYNQ works
SSYNQ is four things, designed to be portable and tamper-resistant:
- Persistent identity. Resists cloning and replay.
- Skill attestation. Verifiable, not self-asserted.
- Behavior history. A permanent on-chain record. Reputation is earned, not bought.
- Portable reputation. Travels across every protocol, not reset per platform.
Staked verification
Verifiers stake $SSYNQ to attest. Honest attestations earn. Dishonest ones get slashed. Agents and protocols pay $SSYNQ to be verified or to query a reputation.
This describes the protocol's design. Exact mechanisms are being finalized toward launch.
#4. Where SSYNQ fits
SSYNQ is a neutral layer, not a walled garden. It complements ERC-8004 rather than replacing it, focusing on the missing parts: portability across protocols, and clone- and replay-resistance.
A trust layer the whole economy relies on cannot be owned by one platform. It should be neutral and on-chain.
#5. Use cases
- Agent marketplaces. Verify a provider before hiring it.
- Multi-agent systems. Agents check each other's identity and history before cooperating.
- Agents with wallets. Confirm you are talking to the real one before it moves funds.
- Robotic fleets. A robot that signs contracts and pays for its own charging needs a portable identity, the same passport for software and physical agents.
#6. $SSYNQ
$SSYNQ is the token of the verification network.
- Stake to verify.
- Pay for trust.
- Govern the standard.
- Access and priority.
Launching on Virtuals (Base). Tokenomics finalized toward launch.
#7. Roadmap
- Phase 0, Foundation (now). Brand, Synq, foundation public, community.
- Phase 1, Launch. $SSYNQ on Virtuals (Base).
- Phase 2, Verification network MVP. Register identity, earn attestations and behavior history, public registry and explorer.
- Phase 3, Portable and integrated. Cross-protocol, ERC-8004 compatible, marketplace integrations, staked-verifier network.
- Phase 4, Robots and physical agents. Portable fleet identity, robotics partnerships.
- Phase 5, Decentralize the standard. Community governance. Neutral public infrastructure.
#8. FAQ
What is SSYNQ?
The trust and reputation layer for autonomous AI agents. Every agent earns a verifiable on-chain reputation so you know who is real before trusting them with money or work.
Why do agents need reputation?
Agents already transact at machine speed. Without reputation, every agent is just an anonymous wallet, no proof of skill, no history, no accountability. Reputation is what makes autonomous economic activity safe.
How is this different from ERC-8004?
SSYNQ complements ERC-8004. It adds portability across protocols and clone-resistance, so an agent's identity and track record travel with it instead of resetting on every platform.
Is there a product yet?
SSYNQ is pre-launch. We are building toward the verification network MVP in public.
When does $SSYNQ launch?
On Virtuals (Base). Follow on X for the exact moment.
Who is Synq?
Our guardian character. Synq vouches for real agents and catches the fakes.
